They never cancelled my subscription as they promised they did a month ago when I called them and cancelled it. They billed me again a month later and now they won't answer the phone.
I called earlier and was on hold for 27 minutes when the said estimated hold was 10 minutes or less. Then I found this site and called through it and wasted another 13.5 minutes
User's recommendation: Stay far away from Smile Actives customer service should be renamed to waste your time.
Dispute charges
Without consent they continue to make charges having rejected the subscription since the beginning of the purchase of promotion of the toothpaste, having called the first time they made charges and having returned the toothpaste they do not care and they made charges again and to add more when they answer you they come out of the tangent giving explanation of supposed policies, and they do not return all the money they took from the bank but that they take away the shipping, and they do not take into account that I paid $13.30 I lost with this company $23.60 can you imagine that they do to how many people how much is this company stealing!?!? ![]()

They charged my bank account once again and I only ordered the product one time in October and was paid for. I could speak to a live person and chatted with someone who even wanted more money to investigate. I notified my bank and filed a fraud claim against Smileactives.
Dont trust the site they sent me too.

They get you with very deceptive practices - if you buy by telephone, they do not tell you that they automatically sign you up for future recurring billing and shipments (I think if online, they'll point you to some small text buried somewhere). Read all reviews.
Beware: this is not an honest company!
Check their cancellation ratio! People are not happy!

You keep taking money out of my account and I only did a one-time purchase. I have been on hold now for 40 minutes trying to get this resolved.
I will now have to dispute these unauthorized charges with my bank and get a new card. Scam, and I am going to contact the Better Business Bureau.

Yesterday, as per their "guarantee" I tried to cancel my subscription thru their website b/c they've already sent enuf product. Their AI chatbot sent me to another screen which I thought was the cancellation screen, asking to verify the cc number I used to purchase.
Long story short, the software kept bouncing me around & today the fraud unit of my cc phoned b/c they had charged me $144. Now my cc must be cancelled & replaced, which is big hassle for me.
Today I phoned their main # 888-575-****, the AI bot kept saying the number I was calling from was not on record, refused to let me speak to a person. I am so angry I intend to write them with a copy to every regulatory agency I can think of.

Can’t reach them to address issues.
Complaint about new charge before 31 days since 1st mailing. Shouldn't have to pay shipping for last return.
I waited over 1/2 hour for customer service to answer my call. Tried customer chat. Have been waiting over an hour for a response from a live agent. The initial chat only allowed for 20 minutes and said I would be contacted by a live agent within 20 minutes or so.
Still waiting.
I've been trying to reach customer service since 9:15 am or so. It's now 1:52 pm.

Never buy product that mentions automatic renewal. I said no and renewal option was ignored. Bank is investigating my complaint.

I requested introductory offer shipment. I called and talked to a rep to cancel any further shipments: product too strong for my husband to use.
Rep took my request. I have now been charged $30 per month since July 2025 without additional shipments and no regard for my cancellation.
I am out $120. No response.

Charged me 3 times where was told onc time would be charged
Was not happy with the product. Called and said no more shipments.
Due to a heart attack, fell behind on payment. Then when feeling better, called to make a partial payment, which they accepted. They ended up charging my card three partial payments.
It should be one of $47. Expect credit back.
